About

The Westchester Knitting Guild is a non-profit organization founded in 1984 to promote education in the craft of knitting by conducting programs, workshops and related events.

Meetings are generally scheduled on the 4th Monday of the month from 7-9 PM and are held in the auditorium of the Chappaqua Public Library in Chappaqua, NY.  Arrive at 6pm for Knit Together or help with a project.  Time and dates may change as needed. Further details and additional announcements are provided in the monthly newsletter.

Meetings feature published authors and guest lecturers in the field of fiber and knitting, and member-led workshops. Each month members bring show and tell items and knitting assistance is available before the start of each meeting.

Dues for the WKG are $30 annually. Membership benefits include the monthly newsletter, meetings, programs, discounts at participating retailers and networking with other knitters. Additional workshops may also be offered throughout the year.

Guests are welcome to attend meetings.  There is a $5 fee for guests.

The Guild is proud to knit items for many charitable organizations as our way of giving back to the community.
